Help. I can't install WhatsApp on Samsung S24

I need help. I changed from Note 10 lite to S24 but I have been unable to use WhatsApp. I have moved files between both phones.

The WhatsApp keeps initialising and then it goes off. 

I have cleared cache, turned off/on my S24 several times. 

What else can i do?

Welcome to the Samsung UK & EU forums! Hopefully, one of the members here can help solve your issue.

Regarding your issue, if you used Smart Switch to transfer apps and files, it’s possible that it didn't install the correct version of WhatsApp onto your new phone and may have used a lesser version from your older phone. Maybe try uninstalling and redownloading it from the Play Store or Samsung Store to see if that works.

I believe you can then retransfer messages and other data on WhatsApp so you have everything back.

Whatsapp now uses Google storage for backup.

As mentioned smartswitch switch transfers can sometimes mess up.

I would suggest back up everything on Google one ( get the paid one if you must. Won't regret it)

I normally don't restore apps and settings . Rest I recover.

Apps can be installed fresh as and when you need them.
Rest can be restored
