Hi there,
I have 2 SIM Cards in my phone (Android 11). One personal (SIM1) and one from work (SIM2).
Is it possible to select one or more groups to make the call's directly from a specific SIM Card, without asking!?
Let's say that for the groups:
WORK, PARTNERS etc. I want to be able to make the calls directly, without asking!, from SIM2
and for the groups
FAMILY, FRIENDS etc. I want to be able to make the calls directly, without asking!, from SIM1.
Many thanks for your time.
Looking forward to her news from you,
Yours,
Claudiu Nemes

The only native way I found to define what SIM to use for more than one contact at a time is to select multiple contacts in the contact app and then press the three dots in the lower right corner and then select SIM for calls and then choose which SIM to use. See attached image. You may want to check out this app and see if it works for your device. Hi Claudiu,
I know this is an older thread, but I ran into the exact same frustration! I wanted to route my work contacts to SIM2 and family to SIM1 automatically, but couldn't find a reliable app that still worked on modern Android versions.
I eventually decided to build an app myself to solve exactly this problem. It's called PaSS (Prefixer and SIM Selector). It lets you create rules based on your contact groups to automatically select the right SIM, completely in the background without asking every time.
In case you, or anyone else finding this thread via Google, is still looking for a solution, you can check it out here: PaSS on Google Play Store
Hope it helps!
