Changing phone number redistered with my Samsun Account

I have recently change my phone number due to the old one being hacked.

When I try to modify the old number registered with Samsumg I go to the necessary page and set about entering a new telephone number.

As I am with a UK provider (Vodafone) I have a number of the form 07123 123456.

As thre is no advice on the format needed for entering the numberI have tried entering my new number number into the relevant box as

1.    071234123456

2.    7123123456

3.    447123123456

Each time I enter a number I get no feedback as to whether it is acceptable all I get is that a text has been sent to my phone with a special code.

The code never arrives,

What is odd is that when I logged onto the Samsung Account webpage I got a message, via my new phone number!!

What am I doing wrong?

Phone number can be entered as normal 07123123456 (no spaces). Just a fyi, but your number, as shown in your post #1, is one digit too long, even though it's correct in the main body, so doublecheck you are entering it correctly. Ensure you choose your country code from drop down list. Ensure you delete your old number.
