Is it possible to use Google Calendar as my default app rather than the Samsung Calendar?
We have began using a new system at work for Rotas, I can sync from the app to a Calendar, which is great as I have a family calendar that everyone has access to. My only issue is, by default when I sync it defaults to my Samsung Calendar, which in itself it's not a problem. But It creates a new calendar on 'My Phone' not even on the 'cloud' samsung account.
I would like to be able to make it sync to my Google Calendar for symplicity, I have looked for a defualt app setting but I can't see one for the calendar, only launcher, browser, phone... etc
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for the response.
I understand that I can see it within Google Calendar, but I could do with the ability to sync. Or share the ICal with another person. But as it's a 'your phone' calendar I can't find a way to, if there even is a way.

@Mitch15: This is possible from within the Samsung Calendar app that comes preinstalled on Galaxy devices. If you open the Calendar app > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Scroll to the bottom of the pop-up window > Manage calendars > Tap the '+' symbol in the top right, then you can add your Google account, and sync the calendar from here by registering the relevant Google account (if you haven't do so already in Accounts and backup).
If you check the options, you will see 'Create shared calendar' in the Samsung account section, which you can use to share your calendar and its contents with another person. Let me know if this helps.

So I can find that option but within the Samsung Calendar app, it comes under a section called 'Your Phone' which I can't see if I can sync it to the Google Calendar, I don't seem to have any other options other than to change the colour of the events on the calendar. I could really do with me changing so that the rotas app syncs with the defualt calendar being Google, over the Samsung one.
So I need to change the default calendar app from Samsung to Google, without giving the option of my rota app to sync with samsung. If I disable the Samsung Calendar app, so it's completely removed then the app still syncs with that one, which is not what I want to be doing.
