Hi. After the latest update i now have a camera roll showing at the bottom of my screen when viewing photos in the Gallery app. How do i remove that? Two reasons it annoys me: Firstly, when viewing screen shots, the roll covers the bottom of the image. Meaning i cannot see the full image. Second, when showing other people a photo on my phone they can also then see the five photos before and the five photos after.

Hello, I did it a lot of times on my phone and it  worked just fine.

My son tried to do the same on his galaxy tab A9 to no avail, the filmstrip in viewer option doesn't do anything, do you have any idea on what he could have done wrong?

Which one didn't work, the galaxy labs or film strip viewer not being removed?

The answer for S22 forward is.

Activate Galaxy labs in the Gallery.

Go to the galaxy labs option

Find Filmstrip in viewer and toggle it off.

Close our the gallery app and when you restart it the strip will be gone

Try closing the app out completely or restarting the phone, if it doesn't work, go to settings>apps>and gallery app, force stop, clear cache, and/or clear the data
