hi just signed up to Samsung awaiting birthday code desperately need a new phone do you know how long it takes or can anyone please send me a spare code if they are no longer going to use.

Depends when it's your birthday, note you can't no longer use someone else's birthday code.

Yes unfortunately the Birthday codes are  now account specific,  my experience has been Birthday codes are received on the Day itself.

Please note birthday codes are not sent every year. Some members like myself have never had one, others have. It depends on what marketing Samsung are doing at the time.

So you may get a code on or around your birthday but then again you may never get one.
