I bought my s21fe last November and expected auto backup to be enabled. I needed to restore something yesterday and found no backups available, nor any google backups. I can backup manually, can not find any reference to auto backup.. the instructions suggest finding Samsung Backup in settings and clicking on that to see auto backup on or off but the screen shows samsung backup and Google backup greyed out so no possible to proceed. How can I set up auto backup another way please.
I have the S21 FE and auto back up is automatically on if you have signed into a Samsung account, you can find more information by going to settings>accounts and back up>back up data then press the 3 dots in top right corner.
that was what I thought, however, when Ilooked for a backup a couple of days ago there were none since last November when I changed my phone. I will leave it a few days and see if it adds anything to the backup I made last night manually
It seems to have, it had not done a backup since last November, just my old phones backup. So I deleted that, and did a manual backup. Then for days nothing, so I gave up and started doing occasional manual ones. However, when I look it did one last night that I was no part of.
