Hi all,

So after going through live chat, then being directed to post a feedback question, hopefully this is the last place im directed to, to post this request.

I was/still am very surprised to see that Meditation is not added as a exercise type on the Samsung health app.

All other health tracker apps ive used have it on there. I am migrating from using using the oura to mostly using the watch, and Meditation is a huge part of my life to improve my mental health.

My request is to get this exercise added to the list, so my imports from google fit are no longer registered as "other workouts".

Thanks,

Kim.

Agreed! Meditation is a daily practice for me that contributes greatly to my overall well-being and should be available to track. I'm amazed that it's not included

You and me both to be honest... Even though I have posted this a while back and have sent them tickets, it doesn't look like they are looking into this anytime soon

I agree.  While one has to be careful how one uses the data, I still don't see why we can't have a very simple app that records one's meditations.  I have asked some accomplished "practitioners," and many of them set alarms, etc., so that they can meditate without interruption for a "minimum" period.  Wouldn't it be interesting to record one's average heart rate, and average time engaged, for this essential practice.

BTW, I have wanted a desktop application in addition to the cloud/phone/watch application.  I would pay for the privilege of being able to see my results on more than a small screen.  I use Garmin and Strava for cycling and would love to use Samsung the same way.
