Hi
The "volume limit reached" message when connecting a Samsung phone to a car via Bluetooth or Android Auto usually indicates that the phone's media volume limiter is active. This feature is designed to protect your ears by preventing the volume from going above a set level. To resolve this, you can either adjust or disable the volume limiter or ensure the car's audio system is not also restricting the volume.

Here's a more detailed explanation and troubleshooting steps:

1. Understand the Volume Limiter:

The media volume limiter is a feature on Samsung phones that restricts the maximum volume when using headphones or Bluetooth devices to prevent hearing damage.

It can be enabled with or without a PIN for extra protection.

When active, you'll see a "Volume limit reached" message when you try to increase the volume past the set limit.

2. Troubleshooting Steps:

Check the Phone's Volume Limiter:

Go to Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Volume.

If you see a volume limiter setting, you can either adjust the limit or disable it.

If a PIN is set, you'll need to enter it to make changes.

Check the Car's Audio Settings:

Some car audio systems have their own volume limits or settings that can affect the sound.

Refer to your car's manual for instructions on adjusting the audio settings and ensuring media audio is enabled.

Check Bluetooth Connections:

Make sure the Bluetooth connection between your phone and car is stable.

Ensure "Media audio" is enabled in the Bluetooth settings for your car.

You may need to remove and re-pair the device or try connecting with a different cable if using Android Auto.

Try a Different Cable or Port:

If using Android Auto, try a different USB cable or port to rule out any connection issues.

Restart Devices:

Restart both your phone and the car's infotainment system to refresh the connections and settings.

Check for Updates:

Ensure your phone and car's infotainment system have the latest software updates installed.

Test with Other Devices:

Try connecting a different Bluetooth device to your phone to see if the issue persists, which can help isolate whether the problem is with the phone or the car's audio system
