2FA factor Instagram

Hi guys, hope someone can help. 

I am trying to set up 2FA on Instagram but to connect with the authenticator app it asks for Instagram code. Instead Instagram is showing a blank code, can someone help?

I have deleted cache, data and reinstalled so done everything possible...

Thanks for your response, but unfortunately this doesn't seem to help. The problem is that Instagram doesn't display the key I need to input to connect with the authenticator app. It is really annoying and I'm not sure whether it's a glitch or something.
