I have had an issue regarding my washing machine last night which resulted in my plug socket and plug from the appliance being scorched. The washer went off mid cycle and upon inspection the fuse had completely blown causing the above scorching.I have replaced the socket and plug and the appliance works but i am thinking the element has blown because something must have caused the fuse to blow!. This seems to be common on Samsung washing machines and is dangerous.

Hi,

Yes you’re probably right! I’ve got a Samsung engineer coming out this week just to check everything is ok with the machine ie element before switching on!
