Hello,

I’ve recently bought a washing machine from John Lewis. When applying for the extended warranty on the Samsung site, I’ve mistakenly entered the delivery date instead of the invoice date. I’ve spoken to customer support on the phone, and they said it should be okay, but the terms and conditions say that it should be the invoice date. Should I re-register the product? Or hope that they were right. The model number is WW90DG6U85LEU1, invoice date 14/01/2025, delivery date 17/01/2025.

I think it should be fine, as the delivery date is the actual date you received the washing machine. Not the date you just ordered.

@Members_uJK8lTF  Technically the warranty starts on the invoice date, there is not a great deal of diference though and Samsung have given you the go ahead.  if claiming under warranty usually they do ask for your recepit.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

If the extended warranty is with John Lewis, make sure you keep the invoice as they will need it to provide service outside of the Samsung warranty
