Posting here out of frustration. The online chat support teams are very good but seem to follow a script.
Almost 5 years of owning the machine and soon to be out of warranty. It randomly pauses during a was cycle and i have to keep pressing to play button to keep it going.
I have done all the different troubleshooting suggested by support but the problem still exists. They say it maybe due to an uneven load, but do not explain why this would happen all of the sudden after years of use. Surely, if there was an issue with the load the problem would have happen long ago.
I calibrate, run an empty wash and all seems ok. Then a couple of washes in the pausing starts again. Now they want me to record it on an empty wash where the issue may or may not happen.
Looking online the mahchines pausing seems to be a common/known issue. Don't understand why it so difficult to get the machine repaired. Samsung are clearly aware of this being a known issue.
One thing for sure is, unlikely to purchase another Samsung Washing machine

Hi,
No wifi connection

OK if it had wi-fi there is a diagnostics section in the samsum smarthings phone app that test things on your machine .
But even if you havent got the wifi model you may have the model where you can download an app and point the phones camera to the display on the front of the machine and do a test and then give the result to Samsung

I vowed never to buy anything from Samsung after owning 2tvs, they give a 1yr warranty as they know the screens start to die from blue/purple spots after a year. They’ve know this for 8+ years
I now supposedly have the wrong type of receipt to enable my warranty…absolute shisters

Intermittently going in to Pause requiring you to press Play? As an engineer I stripped down the circuit boards and found the build quality to be superb. No dry joints, moisture protection, very well designed and built. While I was reassembling it I realised the problem was oxidised connectors plugging in to the circuit board. Have your service technician remove each connector (most requiring a catch to be squeezed to release it) and spray a tiny amount of WD40 on each one when when refitting them. Problem solved (For me anyway).

Think you’re onto something there. Had the pausing problem 5 months ago. Took the main board out. Visually in good condition and no faults with multimeter. Reassembled and no problems until now. Will have to remove board and try the WD40 this time. I suspect that will solve it . Thanks for the tip
