@Ann123: That's very strange. Please can you confirm the model number of your machine, located on the sticker on the inside of the door or drum? Could it be that a nearby appliance such as a tumble dryer is vibrating and causing the dial to turn, although that seems unlikely unless the dial itself is damaged or loose. I might have suggested that it was connected to a SmartThings automated cycle selection, however if you've unplugged it then that also seems unlikely. Are you able to upload a video to give me a better idea of the issue?
