Hi All,
I purchased a SAMSUNG 9 kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer in May and its seems extremely noisy on operation. Does anyone know if this is normal? Also, it fills my utility room with condensation - I am concerned it might be faulty. Any advice appreciated!
Thanks,
Anna

Hey @Stugood2k
Could you provide me with the model number of your washing machine? You'll be able to locate this inside the washing machine door. Alongside this, could you let me know what other troubleshooting steps you've tried?

Mine is having the same issue, loud sort of grinding sound when spinning anti clockwise. Fine clockwise. Had it for about 2 years & wouldn’t say it gets used that much so wouldn’t expect anything should have worn out yet. Did you find out what was wrong?

In my case, the heat pump was mounted on three shallowly screwed bolts and rubber supports. Over time (six months), the uncompressed supports loosened, allowing the heat pump to vibrate, which caused a buzzing noise. The representatives said it needed to be aligned, but as expected, that didn’t help. So, after disassembling it and placing washers with a larger diameter than the bolt, I managed to stabilize the heat pump, and without alignment, the dryer operated—and still operates—quietly.
