Navigation Dial Not working - except via app

The navigation dial on my front loader is not working except via the app - I understand this may be due to the child lock being on but in order to turn the child lock off you need to be able to turn the navigation dial!!!!!

Help I cannot find a way around this via the smart things app.

I can only use the machine now if I do so via the app which doesn't help my kids when they want to do their own laundry.

have raised a very good point - of course in the APP they should have included a button for turning off the child lock - but indeed it doesn't look like they have. A bad decision. 

Is there another way on your machine fascia panel where you can long press 2 buttons (like temp and spin together) to turn off the child lock ..... possibly not seeing as you are asking on here

not with my model  - I turned off unplugged and now we have a machine that is not working at all. looks like the power board has gone.
