Dishwasher Plate Rack Corroded

We have a problem with the Plate Rack that fits inside the lower basket on our dishwasher, it is starting to corrode badly. Please see attached photos.

Having spent half of my day on the phone to your help desk I have been left with the choice of purchasing the entire lower basket in order to replace the removable plate rack. I have been told the Warranty does not cover the fault even though it is obviously down to faulty materials or manufacturing, so not much of a Warranty in that case!

So we are left with the choice of spending £93 +P&P for a plate rack or just get on with it, on a product that is still under warranty, what an absolute joke!

I have also used a Customer Services email address in attempt to find redress, unfortunately that is no longer used, maybe you do not want to hear complaints?

As you purchased the unit from AOL, your contract is with them and not with Samsung.

You'll need to contact AOL who, assuming your unit is under warranty, should send you a replacement.

AOL passed me on to Samsung, who again said the part was not covered under warranty. Found very helpful people at Digicare who discovered the plate rack (Plate Tine) could be ordered without the entire basket. Cost £29.90 inc P+P, a lot cheaper than having to buy the complete basket.
