The bottom half of our Prezio Dual Flex oven door has exploded tonight. I can see several similar posts on here, has anyone had any joy from Samsung on this matter? A lot of the other posts seem to show the bottom half going, not the top.
We're out of the warranty period but even so it's not something that I would expect to happen, it's only 4 years old. We weren't touching or opening it at the time, it went all by itself.
We were standing next to it (it was turned on, cooking our dinner!) but luckily only a couple of minor scratches. So glad we didn't have the grandchildren with us tonight, that would have been much closer to head height for them.

Hi,
I'd like to buy Samsung oven, but this issue worries me. May I ask , if Samsung fixed that , changed something is the door construction to avoid this issue in modern models?

Je n'ai aucune réponse favorable de Samsung concernant le remplacement de la vitre qui a spontanément explosée au prétexte que le bris de glace n'est pas pris en charge. Mon problème est survenu en juin dernier sur un appareil acheté en juillet 2023. Les premiers cas recensés sur le net datent de 2020. Aussi je ne suis pas sûre du tout que Samsung ait fait un changement et je ne peux que vous déconseiller ce produit.
