American fridge freezer water line installation

Can anyone show me a photo of how the water line and filter are connected please?

The water line I was supplied with has a connection for the water pipe, and the joiner for the fridge pipe connection....but I cannot see how the filter connects without cutting the supplied pipe which just seems illogical for a new product.

Can anyone help?

You just cut the water line with a sharp Stanley knife. Then it's just a case of pushing the water line into the filter. It's a push fit style connection in the filter.
