Odyssey G7 32" black screen after windows restart and would not respond. Had to unplug monitor power to get it working.

The monitor was completely black and unresponsive, the toggle button at the bottom had a blue light on. Unplugging the HDMI did nothing. The monitor toggle did nothing, no monitor menus when clicking on it or moving it around. 

Had to physically unplug the monitor and then plug it back in. After that it worked again. Any ideas what is going on and how to fix this. I do not want to physically unplug my monitor every time I start up the computer.

I'm starting to have the same issue with mine did you end up finding the solution to the problem
