Z Fold 3 - Bluetooth Issues

Hi

For the past few weeks my Z Fold 3 has been dropping in & out of Bluetooth. Sometimes wont even allow me to turn it on. It will pair to my watch and then ill get notifications saying it has disconnected. When in my car it will just totally drop & not re-connect. Has anyone come across this before?

Same for me.  Another update just came through but it did not fix the bluetooth issue!!!

My Fold3 has now developed an inability to boot normally. It gets stuck in a boot cycle, gets really hot and needs 30 or more attempts to boot. In addition to that, the sound doesn't work. If I play any app that needs sound, the app crashes.

 

The Bluetooth disconnection, boot problem and the issue with sound are all known problems with many customer reporting them, and you can see the kind of disdain Samsung holds for customers in the response to this thread.

I've had it with Samsung and I ordered the new OnePlus Open last week. I'm also taking Samsung to the United Kingdom small claims court. I'm going to get my money back for the Fold2 and Fold3. Both failed within the first year and Samsung have well-documented dirty tricks to screw customers over.

 

To think they nearly had me buying Apple, smh.

I had exactly similar problem with my z fold 3 samsung phone the Bluetooth is repeatedly disconnected and cannot connect to my galaxy buds , smart watch and car !! I tried all type of reset including factory reset but with no improvements. I called Samsung service but they didn't give solutions. I visited the service center but they requested diagnostic fee in advance $45 before even seeing my phone. I had doubt about their attitude and behavior as if they don't want to repair my phone or they may have no solutions!!

SOLUTION: I've had the same bluetooth issue for years now.
Recently I dropped my My z fold 3 on the floor and suddenly both of my screens turned black. following this youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hj1d6W8PcP8
I "massaged" the screens back to life. I also squeezed the the sides of the screen together, both folded and unfolded to solve my issue. After a lot of struggling it worked, and also to my surprise:
My Bluetooth worked again!

I think due to very loose components a simple impact will loose the connections within the phone, so u just have to force the connections together again from the outside. Hope this also solves other peoples issue. It at least worked for me
