Z Fold 2 Trade-In Value on student site

I find it odd that the Samsung student site offers very low trade-in values for my phone

I checked on the student site and even with 10% off the Z Fold 3 and the £410 trade-in for my Z fold 2, the phone works out to £1020, which is £20 more than the normal site without student discount because the trade-in for my fold 2 is £600 instead!

Absolutely baffled as to how an £1800 phone can go down to £410 within a year.

This added with the fact that you can't trade in multiple devices (like you can in the USA) is VERY frustrating.

As someone who wants to have the latest devices, you don't make it easy! (or cheap) 

I Will probably be sticking to my Z fold 2 or reluctantly buy an iPhone next
