I just received the latest update for my Galaxy Z Flip, following an earlier update that caused my home screen to become completely unresponsive. Unfortunately, the issue persists, and my screen remains black. To make matters worse, my cover screen is gone too, rendering my phone completely useless. At this point, I’m starting to deeply regret choosing this phone.

I checked out your first post and have read the solutions people have given. So I think it's best to now take this a step further. How long have you had this phone? The device hasn't been released long enough to be outside of warranty, and I believe this is the best route to go. Contact Samsung support and get it sorted through warranty. Its a quick chat and they give you options convenient to you, get it sorted now instead of being without for longer.

This seems like the only possible solution right now, thanks.

Having the same problems phone unresponsive since latest update tried everything to get screen back on sometimes it responds after pressing power and down volume and phone restarts but after it's put down and screen goes off where it's left for some minutes have to go through it all again ..phone become unreliable not getting texts msg emails calls etc as phone seems to shut down ..

We sent my daughter's phone in to be repaired because Samsung's update ruined her phone within 2 months! They are trying to charge her $345 to repair it. Samsung needs to be SUED! THEY PUT OUT AN UPDATE THAT RUINS PEOPLE'S PHONES!!!!!

There is a lot of "you" in this. I do not work for Samsung- just like you. I'm also just a customer. If you have experienced this, I would try contacting Samsung directly.

As for contacting them..m We already have. How else would we have been told she has to pay $345 to repair it? They are ***** scammers! Samsung has a 1 year warranty. She's had her phone for 2 months exactly before the update ruined it. We will be contacting a lawyer. She isn't the 1st person that they did this to.
