Z FLIP 4'S DONT BUY!! FAULTY!

So, I have z flip 4, I noticed that where the hinge is on the left it started to turn black. Randomly one night when I was texting the screen just went black. Sent it back and I'm still under warranty but apparently there's cosmetic damage. I can assure you that the phones exterior is pristine but the screen has a very slight wee scrape or two. Samsung has DENIED warranty because of "cosmetic damage" if you search this forum or others allll over the Web you can see this is a MANUFACTURER issue. Samsung know this and refuse it because there's so many cases. I've been a loyal customer, prior to iPhone. Convinced my family to turn samsung and have a tab and appliances etc. So disappointed and disgusted with this. Folks, GO FOR IPHONE!! They WILL either fix for you in sight or give you a brand new device, despite "scuffs" Samsung, you lost a loyal customer. Hello APPLE!

I'm sorry to hear of this issue you are faced with @Samsuungsuckss 

Similar happened to my Samsung Fold³ which turned out to be the factory fitted screen protector becoming delaminated , which I carefully peeled away and continued using the phone. { removing this screen protector is solelyat the owners discression }

Yes If a person performs a forum search they should find existing threads from other members who have learned that if a phone shows sign of a bump  / scrape that could have caused the current issue ,and or means the phone needs to be brought back to warranty standards,  then a fee can be levied by Samsung. 

The issue you have is with the screen / display and by your own words there is " has a very slight wee scrape or two  " on the screen. 

With a phone I would always recommend some form of insurance over and above the standard Manufacturer's Warranty such as Samsung Care+ , Home Contents Cover , or some Banks provide cover as a perk of the account.
