Over the past few days my wifi on my IFold 4 has refused to switch on and connect. Upon investigation it appears there are numerous complaints of similar issues all since the start of this year with the only solution being to send the device and pay £100's for a repair. In all the years I've owned mobile devices I've never seen such an issue and I'm currently racking up data expenses to support the use of this device. I was about to explore sending in the device, or even change it for the IFold 5, but I see even more recent purchases of the 5 are having similar issues. Should I be concerned? Is this predatory activity by Samsung? If I own a car and it stops working due to a manufacturing issue, the recall costs me nothing, why should I pay for a wifi software issue? I'm loathed to consider a competitive manufacturer as I have supported Samsung for over a decade, however I don't see these types of issues happening with my wifes Apple devices.

Sorry, typo regarding the Zfold, a consequence of me looking at multiple devices and solutions. What I mean is the Wifi switches off. When I turn it on it doesn't detect any networks and switches back off within around 30 seconds to a minute. The consequence being that I am using my 4G to run the phone throughout the day resulting in data usage costs that I would not normally incur. I have completed the test you referred to several times along with multiple shut downs and restarts as this has been a rather deep rabbit hole of investigation. It appears this is a problem shared by others and the only solution I have found online is to send the device back to Samsung. However, I have also now read reports of people having to send the device back multiple times for the same issue resulting in them having to replace the device altogether. It appears to be a problem specific to the Zfold.

Sorry to hear that. I am still yet to find a solution.

Now the Bluetooth has stopped working too as well as the volume reducing on calls. Have searched all week for a solution and it appears there is nothing to be done other than send back to Samsung with the hope they may be able to fix it, but apparently this isn't guaranteed. Was considering the ZFold6, but this experience has put me off Samsung altogether. Very disappointing.
