Unable to send texts. Getting tesco o error. Have tried everthing. Any ideas?

Have you contacted Tesco Mobile about this issue?

Tesco Mobile is an MVNO of O2 who have been experiencing a larger than normal, number of outages on their network in the last 24 hours or so according to DownDetector, here...

Alternatively, try turning your phone off and on to see if that clears the text messages.

Also, you can go to...

Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings (this will reset your Wi-Fi. mobile and Bluetooth settings)

I agree with @ironass to contact your network provider as they maybe able to check your account and area.

Or is this happening everywhere you go @Beets  ?

As a process of elimination try your sim card in another phone.

And if possible another sim card in your phone.

Check your messaging centte number to ensure it's correct.

And it worth checking either you or the recipient hasn't added your contact number to any messaging blocking setting unless this is happening with all texts.

You can reset your network connection in Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Connection.

My new Samsung galaxy 23 ultra is showing error 0.
Tesco store have no clue.

This may explain your problem as Tesco Mobile is currently experiencing a large number of outages.

Iv been into tescos stores, but on online chat with the error still not rectified.
Said service should be ok

I'm having the same issue that I am unable to send text messages.
I've only just joined Tesco mobile with the s23 . I've migrated my own number . Should the number the phone came with still be visible on the sim card ?

I'm wondering if it's to do with an SMS converting to MMS if you have a cap set on your SIM not to charge you. However if you have unlimited texts it shouldn't stop you sending longer messages. I'm having the same issue on and off with my Samsung A13 - however sometimes the recipient tells me they have actually had the message. So confusing 🤔

New Samsung with Tesco, exactly the same issue. When I get a chance I'll go into a store. This is not good. Only some numbers. Complete pain.
