Sim help

I have just got a new phone via sky. Also got a new sim only deal for my son who is having the old galaxy flip 2. Factory reset the flip. Activated the sim and put it in but can't get past setup. Says can't connect to the internet and won't get to WiFi bit. Any help?

Are you both on Sky Mobile @Stevegbee 

Can you try putting your sim card in to get things set up ,and then put the new sim in after, and or pop the new sim in your phone to see if it actually works. 

If it does not then you may need to speak with the network. 

Let us know how you get on please. 

Edit to add try removing the sim card to ensure it's seated properly.

Neither the new sim or the previous sim get past the same bit

Are you able to check that none of your previous information like your Samsung Account are in the phone ?

If not because where it's stuck at then I'd attempt another factory reset @Stevegbee 

And kr Try setting up the phone without a Sim card in it.

Thanks for ur help. Worked by taking the new sim out and linking both phones.
