Screen problem Samsung Z Flip 5

Hello, I have bought a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 for 1 year and I have a problem with the screen, there was a green joint in the middle where it folds, which then turned completely white and turned the entire last part of the screen white. Now the screen is white only at the last part. Does this dual problem characterize this model? And can I get help from the official company? Please let me know

Hi there 👋, sorry to hear about your z flip screen issue.. Samsung phones comes with 24 month manufacturer's warranty i suggest you to get in touch with customer service to book a repairs, you can do it through the app by clicking support and at the bottom it should be request service option.

Mine had the same issue but was told I needed to pay for repair because the screen had cracks on either side, I never dropped it and am still paying for a phone that's not working. Needless to say I lost all my stuff as well.

I'm sorry to hear of the issues your currently experiencing with your Samsung Flip⁵ 😔 

In the UK samsung apply a 2 year manufacturer's warranty, however if your in another region you would have to check the warranty where you reside. 

This warranty covers issues not resulting from accidental damage.

If your phone shows any signs of accidental damage then Samsung would potentially charge a fee to bring the phone back to warranty standards, before effecting a Repair you've raised. 

If a network has supplied the phone then normally it would be them that has a duty of care to suppprt the phone.

Hi, I have a fold 5 and the front screen doesn't work properly. Sometimes touch screen does not work. Can anyone help?

Today, I went for my repair appointment, and semsung customer service is so silly. Refused to repairs saying not covering in warranty. Is that making any sense paying so much money in phone and even semsung not supporting.

Mine was just 4 weeks old when this happened and also was told 2 that there was a crack even though the crack was actually In a place on the phone that was under the case. It was repaired free of charge by samsung but ideally I should have swapped it for a new phone being as it was just 4 weeks old, a year later I've got the same issue and there telling me they won't fix the fault that they have ready repaired once before unless I pay for it! Shocking customer service and this seems to be a common fault with this phone so have we all been careless?

Same thing! Small split has appeared on the fold of the screen then screen is now black. Samsung saying warranty void because of ‘cracked screen’ come on Samsung admit it’s a fault. The phone is otherwise perfect and in a case, been very well looked after and under a year old. Help

I’ve just had my repair refused under warranty because of a hairline crack in the fold of the screen.  Just like so many Flip 5 users. Now I fight with Samsung.
