Samsung Pay keeps making me reregister my payment cards. Five times in 6 months on my Flip5 and always after using it, successfully, earlier in the day. Customer services don't know what the problem is. My Note20 doesn't have this problem so I'm thinking it's time to move away from Samsung after many years with them.

You have the option of using Google Wallet instead.

That is something I have considered. At the end of the day, Samsung Pay should work and if it doesn't then it may be an indication of a more serious problem. Samsung say that they haven't seen this problem before which may indicate a problem with the phone itself.

I have the same issue on my Samsung watch and it is embarrassed when you go somewhere and you try to pay and then you realized that the app has been reset automatically with no reason so then I had to use my phone to pay. There is a message saying that the app has been reset so then I had to register car again and it's annoying.

Sorry to hear that you had that problem with your watch and yes it is embarrassing. When I had the problem with Samsung Pay on my phone it affected my watch as well. This happened six times and each time Technical services said that they had never heard of this problem before. I sent my phone back so they can find out why it is happening and it is arriving back today. I'm thinking about going back to Apple, sadly.
