Yes, this was the same issue when these first came out back in the 90s, I think. It was a very basic phone back then but could be easily fixed. Again, like everything else, what we had back then come back again but just with more ***** loaded onto them. The whole idea with the new technology is that nothing is built to last,making the consumer re pay and buy another gadget to replace the ones that no manufacturer will fix, more to the landfill or to abroad. This is what I dont understand. Why does this generation land themselves into debt to pay for the latest phone that's just come out when it's not new at all. 😆 landing themselves into financial debt. If you buy a phone from your phone company it has a lot of bloat wear on to it,where as if you buy one from a shop like argos or carphone warehouse etc you can basically stick any sim into it as it is open to all networks. As the old saying goes,if you can't pay for it outright, you can't afford it. Don't get yourselves into debt for one when they are so unreliable. If you want to take photos, buy a decent camera instead. For me, a phone that calls,texts, and goes online does me, and even in most areas, it won't call out unless it uses the WiFi. The more stupid people pay for the upgraded old models and are willing to pay for the latest tech, the more the prices will go up because stupid society wants the latest gadgets and technology. Ugh,if only the world would go back to the 80s and 90s. Life was so much simpler than today. We are being sucked into technology, we no longer take an interest in what's around us, and the world evolves around technology,phones, and Web.
