[UPDATED 04 MARCH]

Looks like Samsung users may be in for an even longer wait for Android 15/One UI 7.0...

Samsung’s Android 15 update is delayed until 2025

Hi @ironass

Some things are worth waiting for 😉

Seriously though I would only want an update that's stable and as bug free as possible.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Tbh I am not looking forward to new android versions. As I am using old phones as back up phones and comparing to this Android 14 I realise those were more friendly, creative and reliable. This android 14 is packed with features, but it feels stiff and it's full of glitches. I enjoy the fastness of the Snapdragon GPU, the powerfulness of the camera and the top notch features, but man, I miss old versions of android for the reliability and friendliness.

It's always the same @Star_girl .

Thinking back to all the new Android releases over the years... in spite of Alpha and Beta testing, there are always unexpected glitches when an update is fully released. Then it is down to Google or the manufacturer to fix these and make them an update we will look fondly back on.

I have spent over a week on the Android 15 update on the Vivo X Fold3 Pro global model and it is very smooth and feature packed and I see no reason for Samsung's release to be any different. As @BandOfBrothers states... "Some things are worth waiting for". 😁

It seems that the stable roll-out of Samsung's One UI 7.0 has been pushed back to the end of January 2025, at least in the U.S. This should coincide with the release of of the Galaxy S25 series. Then, should follow the Fold Special Edition, Fold/Flip6 and the S24 series with the S23 series and Fold/Flip5 following thereafter the S23 series and Fold/Flip4 and eventually the Fold/Flip3/S22 series and finally the Galaxy S21 series.

Samsung tipped to have a late January timeline for the Galaxy S25 series in the US

The good news is that Google plan to release Android 16 as early as the 3rd June 2025 in plenty of time for Samsung's Fold/Flip7 launches...

Android 16's exact release date leaks
