So I've had my samsung z flip 5 phone for a few months and the other day i did something really silly! I had a heater on and was sitting using my phone, but I fell asleep and my phone must have fallen out of my hand and onto the heater. I don't know how long it was there for but when I woke up my phone was scorching hot (obviously!). Now the main inner screen is completely dead. There is some damage to the outer small screen but I can still use to check my notifications. The phone is also still charging. But my main concern is that I can't access my phones data (photos, videos, messages etc.). If I hook the phone up to my laptop, I need to be able to unlock the main screen and select what I want to do through my phone which, obviously, I can't do. So my question is, how can I recover my data? I've tried find my phone and although it recognises the phone, there's no data to be found. I'm not very good with stuff like this so if anyone has any advise, keep it simple for this tech illiterate numpty! Note - I also tried one drive and nothing there either. Please help!

I take it you don't have Samsung care accidental damage? Would the data be backed up on your Google account/s? What about connecting it via Bluetooth to another phone or PC? Or use a USB cable to transfer files to PC
