One UI 7 release date delayed

I am totally disappointed from this news!

This update was delayed for more than expected, And it should not take this long,Also providing it to the S24 only for Beta testing, and Excluding Fold/Flip 6 is a major concern for everyone,Samsung need to improve the communications, and keep customers updated with the right date for software releases, Can anyone read this post confirm his/her opinion as well.

Even the beginning of February is a late date for the update to be released and it turned out there will be another 3 beta versions before it is out? No earlier than April you must be kidding me. Samsung really takes billions in profits for doing what?

As frustrating it is for us waiting for the ui7 update the delay makes sense for samsung from the sales point as it decreases competition and increases desirebility for the newly arrived s25. However for samsung this delay is a potentially double edge sword as some will jump ship to iPhone as they are frustrated impatiently waiting around while loosing confidence in the update

Samsung is quite skilled in hardware, but unfortunately I cannot make the same comment about software. This has nothing to do with sales policy, it has to do with lack of infrastructure. It is unbelievable that we are still below while another brand's Android 16 is almost on the verge of release.

I say this always and in fact, I don't have a place where I see updates as this on the Samsung members app, I only stumbled on this via Google. Can you imagine that?!

I was checking when One UI 6 was released for S23 ,and I discovered it was released on November 23,which proves the theory that there is something weird happening with One UI 7👎🏻

I'm looking into purchasing the Pixel 9 Pro Fold since the OnePlus Open 2 was canceled. The S25 has One UI 7; the hardware isn't that much different than the S24. Samsung is full of it about the delay. This is about selling more S25s; I guess they didn't hit their sales targets in January.

S24/S25 practically are same phones with entire generation gap in software between two phones (Android 14/15). Reasons for slow rollout are clear and that is exactly the issue. Apple does a better job, Samsung needs to catch up to match. It is as simple as that. Is Tab S10 Ultra 1.2K tablet on Android 15 yet? What's the reason its not? Protecting sales of upcoming S11? Just lazy excuse. My Samsung ecosystem between latest tablet and latest phone have Android 14 and android 15 gap, including UI6 to 7. This experience is poor as tablet has been out since August last year I belive. Google and Samsung are partners in delivery of certain software solutions, perhaps operating system should be one of them. If that cannot be achieved, perhaps time to learn from Apple or Huawei. No way you can present to be industry leading and feed excuses to customers on not delivering an industry standard (market). Regarding software rollout on previous models ahead of the new phone release being bad for business - yeah, look at Apple. IOS18 was available on IPhone 15 pro couple months ahead of Iphone 16 release and sales are shocking, aren't they?
