It could also listen to everything you do. Alexa should not be anywhere near a phone.

I prefer Bixby myself. I use it solely for when I'm wearing my buds. The app can be customised pretty well so you can carry out most tasks. Google's assistant is pretty decent as well. I have a Home mini and have never had an issue. Works pretty seamless with my Cromecast and Hue lights.
