I can't see the new battery level display

With my Flip6 closed, I can no longer read the battery level indicator following today's One UI icon update. Is there an option to make it bigger?

I confess I didn't find it easy before as I assume the battery status should have been legible even when the screen was dimmed…but it's a lot worse now.

I realise screen estate is at a premium with my Flip6 but I'm seeing a huge clock display while the navigation buttons at the foot of the screen and the 'Clear' button are too small for my fingers (the navigation buttons are tight up against the edge of my screen protector making them even harder to hit). I would love to be able to change these sizes – unless this is the price I must pay for this phone.

It's tiny on my phone (about 4pt text in printing language) - and made less easy to see by having the shaded sliding scale graphic behind the numerals. And, yes, I'm wearing glasses.

Not sure this is a fair likeness under real world viewing conditions but the battery readout numbers are very small, not very sharp and made harder to see because of the grey sliding gauge behind them…

The wallpaper isn't the cause of the problem. I can't change the root cause which is tiny black numbers displayed against a grey background. Whoever thought that numbers that size would be accessible to all when viewed against a grey background needs a refresher at design school.

Having measured it, the numbers are 1.4mm / 0.05in high which is a 4pt font. Try typing some text at 4pt size and see how you get on.

And yes, I am wearing glasses.
