Galaxy zfold 3. I need help!

I'm in need of some serious help. I've been trying to get my problem fix and no one seems to know how to do it. When I have a new message (text and or email) and i open my phone, the new message will automatically view. I just want to be able to go into the actual app and view it myself. So, let me say it one more time just in case I explained it wrong. If I have a new text message or new email and my phone is on the table, I'll pick up my phone and when I open my phone the new message will automatically appear on my screen into the actual message already. I don't like that. Please someone help me! Its so frustrating! What do I do? Where is it in my settings that I can stop it?

Take a look in settings, apps, email, New emails, is Show as pop up toggled On.

Try settings, notifications and select "brief".

No, sorry. I have no idea what to do if anyone is able to help. I hope so.

Maybe when you scroll down for the notification.
If you tap on notification settings
Then you get in the page where you can set what is shown for that notification.
As you can see I have mine set to brief. Which shows less information.

Sorry no Glenntech, thats not it.  tried it and thats the problem. 

Idk how to stop my new messages from automatically opening to my screen when i pick up my phone. It will take me right to the text message or email if its new. I just want to be able to go into the app and check on my own.
