Galaxy z flip 5 problem

Does anyone know why my Galaxy z flip 5 has started doing this when I open it 🤔 The cover screen is showing on my home screen when I open it 🤦‍♀️

I was gonna upla picture but it's not giving me the option 😔 

So basically my shape of my cover screen is showing on my home screen when I open it, for about 30 seconds 🤷‍♀️

Not seen that on our ZFLIp3,4,5 or 6, only the ready SoD.

First thing to do is ensure you have a backup, in case it gets worse.

Any shawarranty (as martin Lewis calls it) left or did you purchase on a credit card, as it is covered for 6 years (assume no damage).

Beyond that, have if it just started happening try and trace back any apps or updates, try starting the device in safe mode, basically get your Detective hat on.

Hopefully its an app, software glitch and maybe clear cache will solve it, if not best to talk to Samsung Customer support and get it booked in, if your in London I highly recommend going into the Kings Cross store (book in before) and do it face to face.

i love the flips and folds, but must admit purchasing and maintaining them is riskier than a boring slab phone 🤣

sadly I have purchased the ZFLIP3,4,5,6 and ZFOLD3,4,6 with each expecting problems and had problems with them all except 2 (fingers and toes crossed).

i guess that's the price we pay as early adopters, though they are established products now.
