Fold4 & Flip4 NOVEMBER update

Samsung have begun rolling out the November 2024 Google security update for the Fold4 & Flip4... ahead of the Fold6 & Flip6 and Fold5 & Flip5 series.

Hello there,

I recently purchased my flip 4 from BackMarket, and it's stuck on the November 2023 security patch. Every time I press "search for updates", it declares it's up-to-date, whereas my previous S21 was on the most recent OneUI 6.1, Android 14 Security Patch. Any ideas as to what I can do? I've just reset the phone and am having the same issue still.

Just some quick questions on your Flip4.

1. Which carrier are you with and which country are you in?

2. What is your device's current, "Service provider software version"?

(Go to... Settings > About phone > Software information > Service provider software version)

Country: Great Britain 

Service provider software version: SAOMC_SM-F721U_OYN_XAA_13_0005XAA/XAA,XAA/XAA

Your Flip4 device, (F721U), is a U.S.A. carrier branded phone intended for sale by U.S. carriers in the States to run their firmware on their networks. Since you are on a U.K. network, this is the reason that you are not receiving updates. You could try installing Samsung's Smart Switch PC suite and attempt to try and update using that, as follows...
