Fold 7 - No Spen

I'm out.  No Spen is an utter dealbreaker for me.

Add in no UDC on the inside, and no attempt to add Spen support to the front display or include a small built in Spen.

Samsung, if you want my money, the Fold 7 is the way for me to absolutely not hand it over.

Oh, and I'd like my £50 pre-order reservation back early for this mess.

That is what you signed up to when you paid your pre order reservation fee.

Many thousands have done so. Samsung will not search out one payment to push it early. It is an automated process so I'm afraid patience will be a virtue.

I totally agree with you there they have become greedy and rotten to the core in recent years. The only samsung thing I bought lately was a smarttag 2 and even that was on discount only £12 on amazon instead of £35 which is ridiculous

Have to say, I wasn't a big S-Pen user but now it is gone, I want it back 😂

(hypocrisy I know but that's us humans for you).

I wish I had spent more time playing with it, especially to take pics.

I gave it up once Note9 to S20 Ultra because the cameras were incredible despite the focusing backlash.
The phone was great and lovely to handle for the size, but I did miss it a lot, though I did get a Tab S7 so that helped a little, as that has an S Pen.
But when I got the S22 Ultra I was so so happy to have the S Pen back! Took so many cool group photos with the Bluetooth S Pen + a tripod at weddings and trips and still use it to this day for notes and photos.
I hope the S26U brings back Bluetooth in the S Pen.
I am not getting the ring and using a watch is too obvious and more laggy, whereas clicking the pen was so quick and covert for natural poses as if taken manually by another person.

My use case may be a rare example but it's that incredible range of flexibility and features that made me stick with Samsung ever since I got the Galaxy S2.

No S pen for fold 7 does means an downgrade. To upgrade  from Fold 6 to Fold 7 need to use Spen. Without S pen there is no meaning to downgrade to Fold 7.

Agreed I use spen for same things far better than using a watch. I've also been with samsung since s2 was Nokia before that. But if s26 or s27 don't bring what I want to the table might have to look at the competition 🤔
