I bought it around 20 months ago . Had no issues , haven't dropped or no rough use as well. The inner screen near the crease got a black line in the centre and heard crackling sound as i opened. That's the last time my inner screen worked. 

This ***** is unreal as I lost the main screen without actually dropping or any mishap. Not sure of the reason and it costs around 549 gbp to repair it. Am fine with samsung and the trust on it. Been a samsung user for 8 years.

It isn't great for 20 months though, that should be under warranty. I won't touch foldables due to this. I have an s23 ultra and for the price of it I would expect 2- 3 years of heavy usage. As for the folds I would expect the same even if you unfold alot. It sounds like the screens are giving way after so many folds and it's not good. If they told me I had to pay that I would be selling all my Sammy gear and running for the hills for a pixel or back to iPhone lol and believe me going back to iPhone would be a nuclear option

This happened with my Fold³ which turned out to be the factory fitted screen protector @RTQNO which I chose to peel off and use it without one. 

Your phone should have a one time only free factory fitted screen protector replacement option. 

If it is the screen then the best course of action is to contact a Samsung Service Centre to have the phone assessed. 

Samsung would levy a fee if they deem that the issue is caused by accidental damage which isn't covered under the Limited 2 Year Manufacturing Warranty.
