After nearly one month of waiting my fold 3 finally arrived today. I was playing with the phone like I normally do- a lit of drawing, gaming and browsing etc.. for a couple of hours and now I can see some indentations on the main screen.
I am hoping it's only on the screen protector and not the screen itself. Anyone have the same issue?

The only way to know if the damage in on the screen is to take the protector off which I am not willing to do, in case I could not return the device.

That's does look like the plastic screen protector but it should be more hardy than that in my opinion.
I appreciate your not keen on removing the screen protector but looking at YouTube tutorials it's pretty simple.
But again I appreciate your viewpoint.

Hi, exactly the same issue for me. Called up Samsung and they also confirmed it is not "normal". However, after assessment, they said there is nothing wrong with the screen, which was disappointing to say the least. They also tried to charge me to replace the screen when it contradicts their statement that there is nothing wrong with the screen. In the end, they said they will replace the screen free of charge. Still leaves a bad taste in my mouth though.. having spent that kind of money on a phone and to have the screen be like that. I confirmed with them that if these infestations still appear, I'll be asking for a refund. I've always been a huge Samsung fan but they way they tried suggest that this was "normal" just does not sit well with me. Will let you know how the new replacement screen goes.. they also should've offered me a new phone to be honest..

Again.. same issue with me. I am also very careful and do not play any games. My indentations are from closing the phone too. Which should not happen. Recommend you call Samsung but as noted before, they tried to pass it off to me that these indentations are "normal", and tried to charge me to replace the screen which just contradicts their statement that the screen is normal. Been apprx 10 days now since ive shipped the phone to them.. still waiting
