Fold 3 main screen issue

Hi All,

My fold 3 currently has an odd issue, when I use my front screen and then open my phone the big screen doesn't come on. I have to restart my phone with the phone open and the screen works fine. 

What could be causing this issue? There is no screen issue and works fine when open.

I hope its not an issue that requires Samsung as their customer service is a joke and for sure will blame it on something and not cover it.

Any help/advice will be appreciated.

I've not experienced this issue with my Fold³ personally @Rafter_123 

I have mine set to show on the main screen what I've been doing on the outer screen.

Can you perform a few generic troubleshooting tips please.

• Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too. 
• Safe Mode  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/ turns off downloaded apps and themes etc which may highlight an app or theme that's causing conflict. 
• As a very last resort back up and factory reset.
• Try the built in diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App.
• If required and I know your not really wanting to do so but you may need to visit a Samsung Experience Store or Samsung Service Centre.
