Emails running in background continuously fold3

For about a week my email sync keeps saying its running . I turn it off but it continues to say its running in the background. Why? Its very annoying

This is a current glitch that shows email as syncing  @Bert1874 

Many including myself are experiencing this. 

Personally I swipe the pop up away as my email accounts are syncing ok. 

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

I just toggle off the Email Sync Notifications setting and kept the rest enabled and it stopped it sending me Notifications that it was syncing all the time as it's only a notification that it sync's. My emails still come though as normal though Virgin Media, it shows they are still syncing.
