I have a Z fold 5 and a S8 tablet. I cant for the life of me understand why, when both devices have the same apps installed and both are logged into the same Samsung and Google accounts why when I clear a notification from one device it doesn't clear from the other. There is nothing more annoying than clearing the same notifications twice. Surely this could be an easy update

Once the notification is on the device, it needs the user to physically interact with it. It's the same for text messages and phone calls on my linked devices, just because I delete entries on one device, I still need to delete them on the other. It's not the same principle as things that 'sync' such as emails, pictures. Where deleting on one device, removes it from the other.

That makes sense although I'm sure there could be some way of auto clearing notifications. Maybe not. Was just a passing thought! Cheers for the reply

I'm looking for the same thing. It's not strictly true that you always have to physically clear a notification on every device, as notifications cleared/read on a Galexy Watch will then clear on the linked phone (and vice versa). Would be nice to have the same functionality on my new Samsung Tab.

With all the clever things these devices can do, it would be surprising if they couldn't to something as relatively simple as that 😅

Any updates on this topic?
I'm looking into WIN PC apps such as Whatsapp, Teams, Outlook etc. all these gets my work done during the day, and I'm getting annoyed to still have same notifications on my S24U
I doubt getting S25U would help on this :face-with-tears-of-joy:
