INTRO:
Hi . Lovely People.
This is my personal review of this device and when reading through bear in mind I will be more or less comparing it to my go to device (currently the S24 Ultra).
I have been using the zflip6 as my daily driver with my sim in there.
DESIGN:
I love the design and form factor of the zflip6 . The curves, the way it folds into half and how easy it is to hold with its flat sides.
I love it so much I am just rocking it naked as is without a case. A first for me.
It has really wowed me with it's slim form factor as opposed to the bulky one on the S24 Ultra
Also being curved body is nicer and easier to hold.
CAMERAS:
I love the fact you can use the front facing cameras for selfies 🤳 and doing it hands free as you can just prop the phone anywhere.
Having just the wide and normal camera has also tested my photography skills ( in a good way) as you loose the 3x and 5x zoom from the bigger S24 ultra.
I also found the 2x 4x and 10x max zoom on it surprisingly quiet useful in broad daylight. (Apparently those focal lengths are the optimised ones).
Also a big hit for me is the video zoom is so smooth as it's only using the one lens and possible cropping in on it but looks so buttery smooth. I wish they could do something similar with the S series.
GAMING:
So gaming has been a bit no no for me as I am a COD mobile gamer and I wasn't sure if the zflip6 would handle the assault on the screen and honestly I didn't wanna try .
I pretty sure for other games it will probably be a breeze for this phone.
DISPLAY :
This has been amazing so far.
I love the fact you can just zoom to full screen and get like a mini cinema kind of feel.
BATTERY:
So battery has been quiet good and for light to medium usage should easily get you through the day.
The benefit with the zflip6 is you don't really need to use the full extended screen as most basic stuff like notifications etc can be just be done from the cover screen.
AI:
Since the zflip6 came with thr 6.1.1 I was quiet fortunate to try the newer AI stuff like #sketchtoimage which was pretty fun to use and actually did miss having an Spen to use on it.
Combining your photos with AI is definitely the future you wouldn't wanna miss on this upgrade.
CONCLUSION:
You will love this phone for its compact and slim body.
If you are a social media buff.
If you are an upcoming creator.
Wanna be different from and stand out from the crowd.
Want to get on the AI bandwagon with a smaller footprint compared to like a bulky Ultra.
NIT PICKERS:
Couple of nit pickers for me.
1. Feeling a bit anxious about playing heavy duty games like codmobile.
2. Can hear a popping sound near the screen crease ( like a bubble wrap pop)
3. Cover screen could do with more stuff to do and apps( apparently can use the good lock module for the above) .
4. Unfolding the phone everytime can be quite repetitive and boring.
5. Miss the Spen for AI stuff ( AI still does a pretty amazing job with finger sketches)
