Could I use apps on cover screen?

Regarding to the title, could Samsung release a app were I could use Calculator and such like?

There is some 3rd party apps that let you run nearly any app on the cover screen but also a good lock labs (Samsung's Dev team making more advanced optional customisation and QoL features)developer also recently teased that they are working on adding more functionality to the cover screen.

Search coverscreen os on the Google play store. It is is still in development so expect issues and try at your own risk. Personally I don't use it and I will be waiting for what the good lock devs have been working on.
