Can you backup all files from Samsung to Onedrive using the USB C wire?

Hi,

I have a question: would it be possible and has anyone tried to make a back up all files from my Samsung mobile using SmartSwitch or Upload files from Onedrive using the USB C wire?

Transferring the files from mob to a flash drive and then to Onedrive can be achieved but that is terribly slow. And with 50Gb+ of data, it can take all day.

I know it is possible to make a back up copy of the Samsung mobile to the PC using the USB C to USB C wire. Can you bypass the PC and make the transfer of files directly to Onedrive? However, the speed of transfer may still be no better than using the flash drive because the transfer to the Cloud is via WiFi. But just wanted to know if anyone has tried it and what the speeds are, or if there is a better way to back up all files on the mob to Onedrive?

Hi,

Could you use Samsung File manager to move or copy stuff to OneDrive? You'd have to link the two first. Obviously, this would be over wi-fi. What about a 3rd party app?

Samsung File Manager is one way, but I used Smartswitch to backup Everything.
Getting a 3rd party app to synch regularly with Onedrive would be perfect, but there are several out there, have you any recommendations of such a 3rd party app?
