s9+ is now very slow

Hi, I've noticed over the last few weeks my s9+ has got very slow. Particularly using Internet. I keep trying to 'optimise' to free up RAM. Must have been rhe latest update?!  OneUI 2.1. September 20 security patch. UK.

Did it start getting slow after the September security patch, or was it before that?

I am pretty sure it was just after that.

might he best giving the phone a fresh reboot with the new update might solve issue of it being slow

yeah and maybe wiping the cache after a fresh install may help to
