Fingerprint sensor

Hi, I've replaced my fingerprint sensor in my s9 as the old one was quite scratched and problems reading. The new sensor is not responding/working. I've cleared the cash and done a full reset but still getting the error messages.. Not responding if this keeps happening restart device.

Is this down to the new sensor not working or have I missed something?

Did u replace it yourself or did samsung do it because if samsung did it then it should be under warranty

I done it myself. Got a genuine part aswell. Just put the old back on for now
