If you've activated the Developer Settings and then turned Animation Scale to Off, then this can potentially have some effect on apps as the app has been written by the developer to work with what Samsung has set in the phone Settings.
You could also check the apps own settings.
If you change the Animation scale to it's default Settings do then things go back to working.
You could speak with the app developer via any contact us information in their app shown in the PlayStore and you can give feedback to Samsung via your Samsung Members App.
May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.
